#CheNews June 11th

It’s time for another round of CheNews! Well, actually it’s been time for a while but like Adil Rami we need to go off and dance elsewhere sometimes. Today we are back to perform however and we hope you enjoy this edition!

Barcelona joins the Andre Gomes fanclub

Just as Juventus realized old Italian ladies can’t attract young handsome Portuguese men, Barcelona has emerged as a competitor to the rumored interest from Mouchester United. The interest is documented from both sister cities and as Suso Pitarch met Jorge Mendes in Portugal it increasingly looks as the Portuguese will be the young bride that Valencia need to marry away to get started the transfer market.

Raúl Albiol deal looks further away

The player’s agent appeared on one of the local radio shows recently and revealed it would be difficult to convince Napoli who would rather see the Valencian sign a new contract. This was later confirmed by De Laurentiis, the Napoli president, himself claiming the price of 15 million euro. With one year left on the contract that is a rather absurd demand. Typical De Laurentiis. Valencia hasn’t given up however and insist on making Albiol on of the main pieces in it’s new puzzle.

Conflicting reports on Gustavo Gómez

How much wouldn´t we like a hard hitting South American defender who recently received the blessing of our favorite Argie rat? Ayala had only good words for the Paraguyan contracted to Argentinean club Lánus and despite the club’s president denying any contact with Valencia this is one that looks on. The player is said to have asked his club to sell him to Valencia, rejecting other offers like the one from Boca Juniors. According to our sources, the transfer is at the advanced talks stage with Valencia trying to negotiate the price.

Amadou Diawara offer made

This is another one where the press has not been certain, assuring Valencia is in for him one day, just to deny any interest the day after. Much as a Donald Trump presidential campaign. Now however, it seems they all agree that there is an offer from Valencia and DiMarzio who is famous for his knowledge of the Italian league reports that Bologna are likely to accept. The player is widely sought after with Roma and Napoli interested.

Stuttgart wants more for Kostic

You know the feeling; you’re on vacation in Turkey and go by a store, seeing something you want. You ask the price and they say; “it’s 10”. You say you’ll come by the day after to buy it, and as a good man, you do. With the money in your hands you arrive happy and ready to do a deal. “But today, the price is 20”. Essentially, this is what Stuttgart has done, now asking 20 million for the 10 million rated winger. Valencia will not pay that, but negotiations are slowly advancing if reports are to be believed.

Ignacio Camacho still on

Valencia are very interested in making the midfielder a key piece in the coming season but are dependent on finding an exit for Enzo Pérez in order to afford him. Reportedly Valencia and Málaga have principles for a deal in place.

Aderllan has several offers

With Olympiakos the only named team, Santos seem one of the players closest to leave. There are however concerns at some of these clubs after his weak season and a likely solution is a loan with option to buy.

Piatti seems to have no exit

With his salary of 1,9 million euros very few teams will see him as a viable option, and even though he has been offered around it seems difficult that he will leave.

Curva Nord not happy with club

When Valencia launched their season ticket campaign it was made clear that the stands where the curva is located would now have a age limit of 30 years, prohibiting the entry of older faithfuls. With the fan group now protesting it remains to be seen what the solution will be.

Valencia to Venlo for preseason

There was one lacking piece in the preseason plan, and the solution was not found in Switzerland or Austria as earlier reported, but in the Netherlands where he team will be from the 18th to the 28th of July

Goalkeeper challenge – also in the Mestalla team

Two talented youngsters are fighting it out for the starting spot this season. Antonio Sivera has long been highly regarded and told that this is his year as first choice for Mestalla as well as third choice of the first team. However,  Ferri who is born in the same year (96) is a tough competitor after a successful loan at Guadalajara. The youngster also part took in the last training before summer with the first team. Valencia also has 2 other goalkeepers availale for Mestalla with 25 year old Alex Sanchez and 94-model Ovejero.
