Meriton and Bankia both confirm negotiations will not be extended past the August 15th deadline set, increasing pressure on all parties in this coming week to reach an agreement. Meanwhile, Amadeo Salvo will today participate in the Penya convention in Alcira and have planned to speak. The expectation is that he will again speak very clearly. Julio Insa warns of a “social explotion” following what Salvo will say. Bankia, brace yourselves.
Victor Ruiz: Left the club yesterday heading slightly north to Villarreal. 1 year loan deal with an option to buy for 4 million euros
Aly Cissokho: The left back arrived in Birmingham yesterday to complete his medical with Aston Villa. Later he was officially announced by his new club. The price is said to be 3 million euros and 20% of that will go to Lyon. How did Braulio manage to sign him on such a bad deal, 7,5 million euro + 20%?
Jonas: Has two offers he will present to the club next week around 1-2 million euros. The player’s value have gotten so low because of having only one year left on his deal, as well as because it is widely known he needs to leave to free up non-EU places.
Ever Banega: Sevilla have intensified the work to sign the Argentine midfielder. Banega also has a contract expiring next year and Valencia is expected to settle for about 3 million euros.
Lucas Orban: The president of his French club Bordeaux has confirmed that the player has travelled to Valencia today to undergo his medical. The left back, who can also play in the central defence, is expected to be confirmed signed during the course of the day. The French football experts at Franskfotball.com describe him as “sometimes overly aggressive. A more than approved last season for a player that will continue to have an impact in French football”.
Raul Jimenez: There has been chatter for a while about a Mexican striker being of interest to Valencia, however most had interpreted it as renewed interest in Manchester United’s Chicharito. Jimenez have been linked with both Manchester City and Porto (as replacement for Jackson Martinez) and have a strong season behind him at Mexican club América, curiously nick named “´Águilas”, the same as Benfica. The Mexican web Aztecasports claim there is a formal offer for Valencia which is just for all parties.
Joao Cancelo: The right back has been acquired by Meriton and will most likely be loaned after the same model as Ivan Cavaleiro and Bernardo Silva, also acquired by the company.
Enzo Pérez: It was claimed yesterday that Meriton had sealed the transfer of his rights. Portuguese papers however claim that Benfica is holding out for 30 million and does not seem to take the deal for closed. Andre Gomes made himself space in most sports papers in his country by stating that “It is easy for Enzo to join if Meriton buys”.
Filipe Augusto: New name, coming from Portuguese paper O jogo who claim the player will go to Valencia. Augusto is a defensive midfielder playing for Nuno’s old club Rio Ave. Already the 14th of June, A Bola claimed Nuno would bring the player with him.
Bruno Zuculini: One we can cross off our list, as Manchester City plans to keep him in Premier League. His father yesterday confirmed he will play for City on Sunday, then leave for a 5-month loan at Sunderland until Frank Lampard leaves.
